Car is great. Only problems is constant rattles & squeaks. Driverside lumbar support squeaks (Dealer willing to fix, but need to take apart seat to replace the internal lumbar, even tho I requested a whole new back w/ Leather; Haven't went in for fix), Noise coming from the steering wheel (Can't reproducing anytime I want, so no fix), Rear rattle, can't figure out if it's coming from the trunk or rear deck.

2002 SSM TLS w/ Nav
Just under 23k miles. Looks like I'll be hitting 100k just as I pay this thing off (4 year finance).
No major problems yet (knock on wood).
Had the sunroof squeak fixed, twice to the dealer for center console problem (kept popping open).
Been doing my own oil changes every 5k w/ Mobil 1 5w-30 and OEM oil filter. Also been rotating the tires myself every 10k.
Haven't brought it to the dealer for anything other than BS problems. I'll probably bring it down for the 30k service though, just to have things checked out, etc.
By the way, what kind of life has everyone been getting out of their brake pads. I do mostly highway driving in medium to heavy traffic. Last time I had the front wheels off, the pads seemed to have plenty of meat left on them, although it's kind of hard to judge with the way the caliper brace is designed.

my pads lasted till i replaced the warped front rotors at 70k and i beat on them pretty good.

. Got that fixed, and I'll eventually be bringing my vehicle in for my broken rearview mirror (hanging by the wires), squeaking door handles, squeaking seats, and slipping tranny.BTW, I'm at 11,413 miles.

I'll eventually be bringing my vehicle in for my broken rearview mirror (hanging by the wires)
Took me 2 trips to get the center console fixed. First time they replaced the latch, which held for about a week. I didn't have a chance to bring it back down for a few months, so I just dealt with the center console. But when I brought it in for the broken mirror, I had them look at it again. The guy said he tweaked the hinges a bit, and now it's rock solid.
Other than a few mystery sqeeks that I can't quite localize, (they come and go, so I can't really track them down) the car has been pretty good to me. I was a bit worried about the tranny for a while, since I'm racking up the miles so quick and will be out of warranty soon, but now that they extended it, I've got some piece of mind.
Only other complaint that I have, is it feels a bit heavy around the corners, but hey it's a big car. I might toss in some sways one day, and see if that helps.

Took delivery 11/24/98 a few hours after it rolled off the truck
almost 56K now .....
First 2 years drove everywhere with it and racked up 48K....
No major problems so far beside warp rotors, bad door and passenger seat switches, bad Navigation unit, and some other defects and rattles (don't really care anymore)
Front Brake pads swap at around 40K and rear replace recently.

Purchased 3/2001 (first TL-S sold in Denver)....don't know build date. $25k miles. Rotors turned twice. New pads. Paint chips a-go-go. Broken windshield (that's just Denver in winter). Tires smooth as a baby's bottom!!! Driven very mildly!

Damn! I posted on this thread on April 4th when my car was 1 year, 3 days old and I had 36,350 miles.
