Update on TL project: IT'S A NIGHTMARE. It's a long story, but LSportline is being a piece of **** to deal with. Finally it looks like I'll have my wheels in my possession around the end of the month, more likely the beginning of March. Just in case they fall through I have a different set in mind and ready to be ordered by my supplier.

I'm having suspension problems, which Tim is graciously helping me with. No doubt it'll be fixed soon...he's an excellent business man and because of his reputation and service up to now, I'm not worried in the slightest.

Ok...now to what I received yesterday. Value front bumper and side skirts: made of fiberglass. Also the white piece is the Blaze rear add-on. I had to go to the airport to pick the stinkin' thing up, and me and my boy ended up cramming all of it in his Honda Accord (sticking out the trunk AND the sunroof going 80 down highway 70 to my house!!!). So I got it in my possession and as soon as I get my wheels the kit will be off to the body shop to be painted and mounted up. I was a little surprised to see the liscence plate part on the front of the Value bumper. I'll probably have it molded out by my body shop...I'm currently trying to contact Mike on how to do this.

CLIFF NOTES: Mike is a good business man. Do business with him. I got my kit in. That's all.

Mind i ask how much you pay for front that bumper and did you get it through ValueTL? BTW. it looks nice.

CK....i think it was $550 or something close to that, and yes I did get everything from Mike (ValueTL).

Yeah, it's fiberglass, which i might end up hating later on but for right now it's fine and it serves my purposes.

That cat Mike just called me up a few minutes ago. Like I says people...good businessman fa sho. Turns out I'll end up taking my front bumper to the body shop a little ahead of time to have them mold out that front liscence plate thingy.

I'm one happy customer! I'll be real happy when it gets on the car..................one day, maybe.

why's fiberglass bad?

fiberglass is great, but its considerably heavier than our plastic bumpers...why is the bumper black if your TL is white??? i love the whole damn thang, and im looking forward to doing business w/value for the 19's baby...you know they slang Lsportlines on superbuytires.com now...haha, they got trafficstars too but for hella$$$...Shyne

 

The value bumper is black because it comes primed ready to paint. Also it is pretty light also. I was surprised. Not much heavier than stock.

I've seen 1999TL's car up close and his ride's smooth as hell!! man, he got me turning...not only my head but my whole body as he was driving along!! seen it twice! everything about his car caught my attention.. the paint color, them big chrome wheels, the kit, and the drop. i hate to say but his car got more of my attention than me coming across a fine a*s girl LOL
