In the middle of clearing my headlights, need some help
Ok, got the headlights apart, and Im trying to scrape off all of the original silicone before I re-seal them. Whats the best way to do this ? Ive been using a razor and a flat-head on the dried stuff, and its not working so well. Should I re-heat the old silicone to remove it ?

Once you get 'em open, be careful not to touch the chrome reflector housing! You'll get fingerprints on 'em, you might crack the housing, and a number of other potential catastrophies! So be careful!
Use latex gloves if need be.

So I would suggest re-heat the original silicone and if you want add clear adhesive silicone on the outside after the casing is close.
