2003 TLS.

The memory seats seems to work - I hit the red button and the 1/2 buttons, I get 2 beeps and the 1/2 lights up. So far so good.

Next after an expanded amount of time (between a few hours, definitely sometime less than 24 hours), the 1/2 that was lit up goes off (meaning that that stored values are also lost, I believe)

Any reason this could happen? Is there some known issue related to this?

FWIW, I found the 'problem'. User error.

I was programming Seats1 (LED would light up and stay lit as long as I was in the car), but would go off as soon as I reopened the car.

Turns out I was using a Memory Seats2 remote, so after I opened the car, it was no longer using the seats1 slot the led would go off.

I programmed the Seats2 slot and am continuing to use remote 2. Things seem to go pretty well.
