Meguiar's users

i've been using the 3-step system and have been happy with it but all this reading from the searches i've done about their professional line of products has gotten me interested. from what i gather, most use the #7 Show Car Glaze as polish followed by the Yellow Wax #26. what about the paint cleaner? what's the equivalent for step 1? #9 Swirl Remover? Scratch X? or how about just sticking to the step 1 Crystal Paint Cleaner?

These guys did a comparison that included Meguiars and some of the show car waxes.

Skip reading the test - just know that Zaino won. Both white vehicles I own have very deep wet shines thanks to Zaino.

I used to use the Swirl remover, but as the name implies, it's useful for cars that may have those very light "web like scratches.

The finish on my car is just about perfect, so I stick with the Show car glaze, and Medallion for paint.

I have the paint cleaner, but have never used it. I think it's intended for cars that may have been neglected.

I would say yes, but check out their web site. If I recall correctly, I think they explain it pretty well there.

well the only professional product they have that's can be step 1 is the fine-cut cleaner which i've seen locally but it's got abrasives so i dunno if i wanna be using that...i've been kinda stuck between the paint cleaner and scratch x...what is the diff anyways? the description for each are practically the same!

Since I haven't used either I can't say.

Call them.

I have before and they were pretty helpful.
