today i went to Kragen and purchased the following items:

-Scratch X
-Deep Crystal Polish
-Gold Class Car Wash
-Gold Class Liquid Wax


I want to give my car a really good cleaning. My car is Tafetta White. I see a lot of small dots in the paint. Do i currently have what it takes to get rid of these dots? Any suggestions? I don't want to purchase any mail order product (Zaino). Please suggest. Thanks!

To answer your question no you need at least one more product. This product would be from Meguiars also. They make a clear coat body scrub/paint cleaner this will remove stains in your paint. The cost should be about $5.00.

408 here's what to do: Wash car with wash mit, not a sponge as sponges hold small stones etc. Wash from top to bottom. Use a second sponge for the wheels as brake dust is metallic scratching dust! Dry car with bath towels or synthetic chamois, whatever. Then use your scratch X and paint scrub as directed. Do all this work with bath towels, no undershirts or whatever. Then use your polish. Then wax. Work when the car is cool to the touch if you can. When finished here's alittle hint: Spray the car lightly with water and dry it again - this gets rid of leftover wax and swirls in the paint you may see. Do it this way and your car will look brand new for a long time. Hope this helps. You can wax the wheels too.
