Does the new MDX use a 3.8 liter engine? I've heard rumors bout that...imagine a 3.8 liter conversion :>)

I dont think the TLS is going to jump that much in power just like the New Maxima if it remains FWD. We have just about reached a peak on power levels of FWD cars I would guess it would have no more than 270-275 Hp and slight gain in Torque.

They've been advertising the MDX on TV with having 260hp for some time now. I believe the 2003 models which were released in the fall of 2002 had this HP bump....

Oh, and it's still the 3.5L engine....

this news is only a few months old ... the new mdx also comes with a rear view camera if you get the navi option

I'm with Monte. Even the 260 we have now is enough to spin tires in second gear. You wouldn't do much with more except change your tires more frequently.

BTW, I drove the Murano the other day. Not as trucky as other trucks but still too trucky for me.

If the new Maxima is 270-280 HP, Type-S probably will match it or have 5 more HP than it like now. The Accord at SEMA show has a 3.2 300hp engine, may be that will be in the new Type-S soon

The MDX has a 3.5L 260 HP, 250 FP/T Engine with a full time AWD system. AWD and it still pulls a 16.0 second quarter being AWD
