Plus it's the right color and you dont' have to worry about if it's black or grey. I got one from Snook too and I just haven't got around to getting it on.

I just got my switch, will I need any additional Honda OEM parts such as a harness to install PIAA's? Thanks for the advice.

Tim, I used the honda harness to wire up my fogs because it has the right plug. I guess you could try to use the PIAA harness but would have to solder or run wires to the inspire switch. It is alot easier just getting the connector and harness from honda.

Please explain what this is and how much it costs. I'd like to get my switch installed too and I was worried about how I was going to get the wires to the switch prongs.

ValueTL, How much did it cost for the wiring harness? I guess you got it from a honda dealership right. do you have a part number? Thanks.

It was prety expensive like a 100$ but it comes with all the relays and connectors you need. I don't have the part # but if you ask for the honda accord fog harness they can look it up.

when I get my switch, I will re-read the threads on how to wire the swicth and see if I can set up a relay system for cheaper than the $100 honda/acura parts. Cant be that difficult once we know which prong goes to what, and I think someone posted that already in the past. Atmost I think I'll need spade connectors and two relays with wire to set it up. I'll post diagram when I figure it out. (my Inspire swicth scheduled to arrive today! =) )

Using spade connectors would be much cheaper I agree, but the problem is the switch (when you get it you will see) uses really small connectors on it.

yep, just got the switch. I guess even mini spades will be hard to fit on these. D*MN, gotta think about this...I don't want to solder unless I have to.

If you used the Honda Accord harness, which lights did you pick. Also, did you use the OEM installation instuctions from Majestic Honda site at www.hondaautomotiveparts.com. Perhaps, I should have a Honda dealer install. Your advice is apppreciated . Tim

I have inspire fogs. You should get a wiring diagram when you get the harness. If you think it is too much to install yourself, don't take it to the dealer they will charge you way to much. Try a friend or a speed shop which is much cheaper than acura/honda dealers.

Eeek! can someone please come up w/ a solution for this?? I'm going to have the Stereo shop install my PIAAs later this week and I want them to hook up my Inspire switch too! I don't want to spend a hundred to buy the harness though.

What's wrong w/ soldering right on to the switch? Any downsides??

Just went to the link, and the two harnesses together are approx. $68 shipped. However, they were for a 2000 Accord-no listing for 2001! Will this harness match the Inspire switch connector? And does the harnesses come with the relay(s) and fuse holder if required. Thanks,
