Question This may screw up my...

Just got my Comptech exhaust put on, I like it and all but the sound isn't really noticeable. I'm planning on going to a muffler shop to cut out my resonator, but will this set off the engine light because of the O2 sensor? help? comment? Thank you!

If you just got them put on drive with it the way it is for a couple thousand miles, they will get louder.

When the car just starts up, it's not quite as loud as when it's fully warmed up and you are cruising.. it does get louder..

Comptech Exhaust really isn't loud. One member at the So Cal meet had just the Akimoto intake w/ STOCK exhaust and that thing was loud (at WOT)! The intake was definately louder than comptech exhaust.

It's been almost a couple of thousand miles since I got the comptechs but it has not gotten louder. I agree in that it has sort of a settling in effect after a while. The sound has sort of smoothed out a bit and sounds nicer but not louder. Just my opinion.
