I just called my local Acura dealer inquiring about finance rates and he told me that Honda just started a new promotion for %2.9 APR for up to 60mo. As long as the contract is written by April 10, 2003.

Could this be the big purge for the '03 models??

Wow.. not a bad deal... jump on it as Acura very rarely runs promos like this... especially for 60 months!!

The 2004 is due out in Oct. 2003... so if you want to wait until the end of the year... go for it.. however, keep in mind that the TL is moving up a little in price (MSRP will probably be around $34k). So you can get a deal now or pay more for the redesigned model at the end of the year.... it's really your call.

 

My only problem is that if I did it now the payments would be a little much for me. If I do it later in the year I bump into the price increase. I also checked out my insurance for a Type-S (or it's successor in 04') for only $378/6mo. with $250 comprehensive and $500 collision. Man, and I was worried about insurance! No problem with that!!

I do hope it's the "Type-S" model that'll be in the mid-30's and not the base model......

 

Not much difference between base and loaded, just a navi which you don't really need :P. That is a sweet deal tho. My APR was 5.19%
