maximum front window tint in Canada

does anyone know what the maximum front window tint for Canada, BC is.

Any tint on the front windows is illegal.

ya front windshield tint is illegal and honestly i wouldnt do it neways, it's harder to see at night, i have 20% tint all around on the rest of my windows, 160.00 canadian smokin deal 2!

iz there any law about tinting the two front windows (passenger and driver). and if so, what is the max tint allowed.

well here in canada, u cannot BY LAW tint the driver/pass windows at all, you can't do anythin to obstruct the view, but everyone does it neways, i did, if it's super dark like mine it's more risky, if u get 35% maybe 50% u should be fine, or just say it's factory tint than they cant say nethin.

Yeah, the front driver and passenger windows aren't supposed to be tinted, but there's a lot of cars that do have them tinted.

Personally, I wouldn't do it as it's just something that a cop CAN pull you over for...

...but it does look good with all the windows tinted the same!!!

u can get a nice reflective 50% on the front windshield and you should be ok

Motor vehicle laws are provincial, not federal jurisdiction.

Call a few local shops and you'll get your answer.

Or read the highway traffic act :-)
