Manufacture / Sell Date ? (Poll)
I am curious as to how long did the dealerships keep they're TL-Ss. The manufacture dates are posted on the door jams on the drivers' side. My was only about a month old.

The decal is located a the lower right corner of the door jam when you open the driver door.
Does anyone here know how long it takes for the trailers to get from Ohio to the west coast?

for some reason my dealer said that tl/s, cl are shipped in via water. it would make sense for them to be shipped by car since tls are made in marysville. for a while there was limited stock in Orange County and all the dealerships said there was a holdup at the port of longbeach/LA. dunno if its true or not...

it probably has to do with when a batch of tls were made. after looking around many VIN numbers for tls end in either 5000s or 6000s. This was probably the batch made in March. the cars that are getting shipped in right now are in the 13000s and were probably made in late april/earlymay?. just my 2 cents.

bioyuki,
I am getting the feeling the TLs don't come by boat. The RLs might though. It would be kind of strange for the TLs to be trucked to the east coast, get onto a boat and take a trip through Panama. Heck the average tanker can pay $60,000 in locke fees. Maybe if I fly to Marysville and pick up my own they'll take a few thousand off of the sticker price.
Just kidding...it is just funny how sales reps would just say anything to cover they're tails. I once argued with a Nissan salesman whether a Maxima was V6 or a straight six. I had to open the hood of one to show the dummy.
