Has anyone seen any pricing information on the Type S Manual. Is it still due out in September? I'm hoping its a little cheaper, so I can immediately throw some springs & wheels on it! I'm counting the days until September.......

 

Well, if what everyone has been saying is true (both dealers and users), don't expect a manual transmission on the TL until 2003 at the earliest. The 6-speed for the CL was also scrapped, and probably won't happen until around the same time as the TL......

 

Have you or anyone else seen something definitive about the manual on the TLS? I know Acura has confirmed that the CLS will get one, but the last I heard was Acura was still deciding whether to do it or not on the TLS. Have I missed something?

So the 2002 CL isnt getting a 6-speed??? My dealership said they were going to get one in this fall...did acura change its mind?

 

In teh latest Motor Trend they still said the CL Type-S was getting the manual. not sure though.

 

My dealership mentioned that the TL is definitely not getting a manual this year. The CL-S, according to them, might.

 

I still like the Auto-Stick. Yes Manual would be fun too... But at least I would not have to teach my wife to drive a stick to get the car I have now...
