Guys---Please tell me what the rumor is concerning a manual, 5 or 6 speed type S? I have a buddy who is ready to buy one if only they made such and animal. I think someone read it and posted it earlier didn't they? Thanks in advance!

 

I think the CL / CL-S will have the 6 speed manual first. Not sure though. I think Acura wants to test it out with the CL first, see how it sells, and then proceed accordingly.

also someone else in that forum has mentioned that the Assembly line will begin production in Sept/Oct, but no words on Release date...

 

I'm not sure if it would be out on the TL any time soon because it just came out and it's a 2002. If they make mid-year changes then it would be a 2002.5 model. 2002 CLs will be out in a few months and that's probably the best bet to get the manual. If it succeeds, look for it in the TL in a little over a year.
