Maintenance Question??

I am checking prices for the timing belt & Water pump replacement, and he had a mechanic add onto the estimate a coolant flush, and an oil change.

While I tend to do most of my own minor maint, and that would include oil & Coolant, I wondered if they were trying to pad their work, and therefore their bottom line.

So the question is: Are Coolant flushes, and oil changes part of the timing belt replacement?

Or am i right in my thoughts of a DIYer...

the timing belt job gets a new water pump- with that comes a standard drain and refill of the coolant system- since its going to leak out and has 100k on it!
Most TLs have clean radiator at that time so a flush isnt needed- but wont hurt either

Oil change is part of the 105k service but you can do that yourself, as well as spark plugs, cabin filter, check all lights etc
Replace the timing belt tensioner too- or when it fails the timing belt fails!
