Maintenance, Need Help...
Maintenance, Need Help...
Well my car is at 83,xxx, about to hit 84,000 soon. My maintenance light is blinking when I turn on my car. The last time I took my car in for maintenance, I got my oil changed and air filter changed. What will I need to have done to my car this time? I`m getting real horrible gas mileage. My AC isn`t as cold as when I first bought the car. My car temp. raises up a bit when I come to a stop a few days ago when it was desert hot. It`s normal now. I`m thinking, new Spark Plugs, Cabin Air-Filter, Oil and Oil-Filter, Air-Filter, Brake Fluid, Tranny Fluid, Coolant? Would I need all of these? Or is there anything else I am forgetting?
your light blinking is only on a mileage timer...so it has nothing to do with the car itself - it is really a reminder to get your oil changed and you can reset it yourself. search on this site to find the instructions, I cant think of them off hand but you can do it yourself. Those items you listed are all good things to do at the mileage you are at and are easy DIY jobs.
I completely agree. Those are good things to do, and you can do them all yourself, well, minus all the fluid changes. Some people like to do it themselves, but I'd just assume take it somewhere so I dont have the hassel of disposing of the old stuff.
