I am running M1-105 right now, but my buddy recently informed me that the oversize filter decreases the oil pressure. So I won't be using them anymore.

I paid 30 bucks for 5 quarts of Mobil1 5w30 and the M1-105 filter at AutoZone -- it was a special at the time. Not too bad, although now I get my oil from CostCo at under 4 bucks per quart.

I've doing search and bumped into this post. Here is the question: how oversized filter can decrease oil pressure?
