Lube points

77,777 miles (hehe) on a 2001....and things are getting a little sticky. Feels like the throttle cable is getting stuck. Can someone provide me with the proper lube points for the cable and throttle assembly?

It's most likely caused by the crap built up on the throttle body plate. You can either take the whole assembly out to clean it thoroughly, or disconnect the intake hose while the car is running and spray some carb cleaner into the throttle body. That should clean up some of the gunk built up on there.

Bah

I guess I'll save it for the spring project: the famous acurazine intake manifold cleaning craze. Now that I'll actually own a house I can rip stuff apart and use a hose.

Speaking of which...it's 2 mins from the Carlisle Fairgrounds...walking distance. Intake manifold party during the spring car show
