Lowering Spring Fitment

I have a 99 TL and my friend has a 00 Accord Coupe. His car has eibach lowering springs now but he is selling his car. I was wondering if the 00 Accord springs would fit on a 99 TL. He said I could have them if I want, but I want to make sure they will fit on my car. I know some Accord stuff works with the TL but i dont know about springs. Any comments or suggestions would help.

Yep, same part number for 99TL and 00 Accord Coupe.

Just go to the Eibach website if you want to double check.

So which Eibach springs is he giving you? Pro-kit? Sportline? Either way you should consider upgrading your shocks. You can save cash short-term using the stock shocks but they will eventually need to be replaced because of the Eibachs (not designed for the lower ride height and compression). Look at it this way, you have to pay for/do the labor to install the springs so might as well do it all at once now rather then doing it twice.

Idk the name of the springs but they are the lower springs. They drop the car like 2"s. As for the shocks, mine are already bad due to my subs so no worry about damaging my shocks since they are already done with.

If it is already bad, you have more reasons to change the shock then. I think bad shock is dangerous to drive around with too...
