From what i have heard on the cl boards the pro kit seems to be the lowest you can drop your car w/o camber kits. The drop on the pro kits is about an inch and a half.

I have the comptechs and it lowered the front 1.5 and the back 1. i like it its a good drop. I know the eibach sportlines youll need a camber for it. Pro kit is prob a way to go or HR

i have the eibach pro-kit on my 1st gen TL and i needed to get a camber kit. every car is different and will respond differently to the lowering and stress. so you can't really say whether a certain drop will or will not require you to get a camber kit.

go with h&r springs...have them on my 02tl and they are 1.75 in front and 1.5 in rear...no bounce at all and no camber kit needed...perfectly lowered

I would like to know also since I ordered my srpings with that same drop target(1.75 front & 1.5 rear). From what I understand and from what I have been told from several specialist is that no I wont be needing a camber kit. Im getting the Eibachs...

i think i've seen ur car before at the sw acura dealer awhile back. but i wasnt paying attenion to the drop. Well i think its best that i just look at it at the show, so we dont have to make time metting up. thanks alot for the offer. I'll just ask matt who you are if he's there. i'm pretty good friend's with him. We went to hastings together.

From what I've been told by a mod shop, a camber kit is a total waste of money. What's important after lowering your car is that you get a wheel alignment done (wait about 1 week for the springs to settle). Wheel alignment is done so that your tires don't wear out unevenly. Hope this helps.

i disagree with the camber kit being a waste of money. i mean for the price of one tire which is about how much the parts and install cost, you're saving big bucks on replacing all your tires prematurely. i had an alignment done right after i dropped my car and it said everything was fine, but after a few months, there was an obvious uneven wear. i just wanna reiterate the fact that you never know how your car is going to respond to stress and that camber kits are not a waste of money

im telling you...im not guessing...if you go 1.5 rear you WILL need it...only if you dont like the inside bead of your tire turning to exposed stell belts after about 10K miles or less...now if you like that then no you wont need a kit...comptech or H&R o.e are the only two that you can get by with little to no problems H&R sport and prokit s you'll have premature wear around 10 k or so...the H&R race and the sportlines if you get 5k i'd be suprised...comps on a tl are probablly the best bet for a definte lowered but not slammed look
