Plasmagarage.com has some good ones...I have them on my '03 TLS....and it really depends on what color-effect you are looking for....5k will render bright white light, 6k will render purple-white like the stocks bulbs, and 8k will render blue-white...I have the 6k's and have been happy with them.......$130 - $160 for the pair...not bad....it's really more economical to replace them in pairs in the long run...the factory replacement will be $90 for a single so do the math.....

You should really change them in pairs because as the bulbs get older they change color. So putting a new one will be mismatched to your old one. As for color temp, if you want stock, go with the 4300K.

If you want to stick with stock go with 4300K D2R bulbs. They have the best light output. If you want a more blue looking bulb then go with 6000K and up. Keep in mind that you sacrifice a little bit of light output to when you go up in color temp.
I have 8000K bulbs on mine and the light output is not as good as stock 4300K. Not bad, but definitely not as bright as stock. It does make a difference on back roads that I used to see much better on at night.
PM EXCELERATE on here. He has good deals on bulbs on here and is a reliable vendor.

thanks, you have answered my questions. i see so many bulbs out there but knowing the difference between the stock 4300 and the 10000 is what i was curious about. ebay has many, some really cheap, im sure its a get what you paid for type of thing just like everything else.

No problem - that's what we're all here for...and about those eBay bulbs - be careful...I can't speak for the D2R's but all of the fog bulbs that I ever purchased from there only lasted about a month or so....for my M3 or my TLS.....choose wisely!

Be careful with those ebay bulbs that are $80 for a pair...like you already said you'll probably get what you pay for. Good luck.
