lot of torque on steering wheel
ok, i dont remember it being this bad when my dad first got the car (handed down to me now), but if i really step on the gas, when it shifts (auto) the steering wheel hits alot of torque and tries to turn. is this common?

You might have a bad tire, which side does it pull to? If it pulls to the right then rotate the passenger side tires, and if it pulls to the left rotate the driver side tires.
If this fixes the problem then you probably have a tire going/is bad, and you should replace the tire you took off the front, i.e. the passenger/driver side tire you rotated back.
There might be some other things but this would be a cheap and easy way to start.

I have the same problem,my 99 pulls to the right pretty badly when I floor it. How often should my tires be rotated, I ask this because I just got brand new tires about 4 months ago, so I am wondering if something else is causeing this.

ok I checked for the motor mount, it is the thing in the red circle correct? If so what should I look for, I looked and didnt see and cracks, although I did notice the thing the blue arrow is pointing at is pretty rusty.

thats just one of 3 mounts. another on in front of the engine, usually the one to go bad, and one in the back. no problems with the side mount unless u drive with busted mounts. u holding the steering wheel? its a lot of power for a fwd car, and if ur tires arnt that good. that will make the problem worse.

Well this is only my second car, and my first car was slow, so I dont really have any experience to go off to know if its normal or not. I do only drive with one hand though, I guess that could be a problem.

its called torque steer (should be pulling to the right, i think), pretty comman for a fwd car with unequal length halfshafts/driveshafts but ya check your motor mounts it can make it more severe, also uneven tire pressures, mismatched tires, bad tires will also make it more severe
