Looking for a shop I can trust....
hey guys, I am looking for a shop in the SF bay area that I can trust. I want to create a long term relationship with a good mechanic or team of mechanics that know my car and have my TL's best interest in mind.
Can anyone recommend a shop in the SF Bay area? or perhaps a forum member who does his own work in this area?
thanks for all your advice!

look in the Regions link at top of page, that will get you the meet and greets post etc.- see who is active local to you, SJ has a lot of ziners SF as well
the bay area- that narrows it down to `within a 2 hour drive` for service~
reality is look in the phone book for small ad in auto repair, acura/honda stated in cars they specialize in, Meet the owner and the tech who works on your type car
Ask about the egr problem- if they don't know....its not the right place for you!!
Do not expect service writers/phone girls to know details like that, their job is to get you in the door,,,,
and this holiday season is open season on the customers wallet,
Caution: shops are starving for the next 3 months, do you want to feed them?
Most things can be DIY on the TL, save you headaches and hundreds or thousands of $$$ especially if something odd is wrong, one or 1000 of us will have experienced the same thing, and have the fix
While a shop tech doesn't have time to hang out on azine to know all the secret fixes
