Looking to buy a 2000 TL
Im brand new to the forums. Is there anything I should look for when test driving besides the transmission problem? I will be getting one just looking for the right one.

Unusual noises or vibrations (motor mounts) and warning lights (EGR SRS), otherwise I think you'll be good to go. Try to go as low mileage as you can, though - powertrain warranty is 7/100k

yeah this one im looking at has 72K im tryin to go ever lower.

this one is silver but i prefer black or dark blue. I dont really care to much about the color as much as finding a decent car.

yeah, but isn't insurance a lot higher on the type-s? Insurance is already a ton for me .

There is no '01 Type-S, at least not on the TL.

And insurance IS a lot higher on it. Nice user name, by the way. Do you have a VTECH phone in your TL?

It kinda looks like VTEC HT LOO to me. Haha you should request the mods edit it or something, and I can't believe my joke about the 01 Type-S was missed.

I knew they didnt make 01 type-s, even if they did make one insurance would be a bitch for me so im goin with the tl-p
