I didn't go with 18s since I daily drive my car and rather have a bigger wall for those potholes. Also, I didn't want to spend money on new tires since these tires barely have 10k miles on them. So I decided to just stretch them onto the wheels.
They barely do fit though. They clear the front rear suspension arm or whatever that big thick bar is by less than a 1/4". Rear fenders are going to have to be rolled a bit too.

DD on that kind of stretch can cause just as many problems as a lower profile tire.

its one of those things where you have to have had a history of stretching tires before to know.

Well he never mentioned 225, though I can barely see it in the pic now. I assumed 215 stock.
And also it was my 2cents, I would definitely have problems in center city Philly. May not be the case for the Cali and TX people who would drive on that.
See, I thought it you had 215, and was going to say how does it go from 205 is a nasty stretch to 215 being perfectly fine for DD.

Hey man, it looks really good. There's nothing wrong with them being 17's either. That and the stance is pretty damn good, especially for a DD in LA.
I think I found my next set of wheels too, these in gold on my oldskool MR2. I'll go even smaller tho, 15's!

Wow they look berry nice...17" issh GOOD TO GO. I'm rolling on 19"s the ride quality sucks ass! and I'm always lifting both my foot off the car floor when I run over or see potholes.....Like that helps huh?
I'd definately sport those if they clear brembos.
