Look what I got! New Toy!
Picked this up on Tuesday after waiting 4 months for it!
Can't wait til this baby breaks in. I still have my TLS. I love that and refuse to give it up!

I wanted either silver or black. The silver was the only available one at the time so I got that. But I'm glad I went with the silver. Blue is nice but it's gay to have 2 blue cars. My TL is Aegean Blue already. Mods will come later on of course after it picks up more miles. The goal is 400hp which I think is do-able without too much major engine work! should be fun!!

WOW.... nice STi.... Damn you for having two badass 4 doors!! What's the price difference anyways from WRX to WRX STi anyways?? Couldnt you buy a WRX and buy your own stuff? Like Racing seats, racing steering wheels, spoiler, and your own choice of wheels? Would dat be cheaper? I kno STi is 300hp, how much are the wrx's? Sorry, im not a subaru enthusiast, but i love the STi headlights alot more than the regular ones!!!! ANyways, nice and expensive toy you got there!!

The WRX sedan MSRP is $24,495. The STi MSRP is aroun $32,500. Since there is such a high demand for the car now, dealers are selling them way above MSRP. So generally I guess the car is about $6000 difference between an WRX and STi. You can definitely fix up a WRX to be as fast as an STi but my guess is it will cost about the $6000 at least. I got the STi because it already has 300hp. Any mods will start adding to 300 rather than 227hp. It's now a 2.5L engine and not 2.0 as in WRX. It has a lot more potential. But i won't go into details since this IS an Acura Forum...

All that power but I can't use it yet. s**t!! Still only 110 miles on it so far. I have to let off on the gas right when turbo is spooling up. Just got EMC rotors and Porterfield pads installed on my TLS. Gotta go easy on that too. This sucks, I have to take it easy on both cars!! Lots of slow driving for the next month or so....

yes the STi does have HID and they're adjustable in height! There is a dial to the left of the steering wheel with 4 levels, when you turn it, the lights point up higher or lower as you choose. Pretty bad ass. For some reason, they don't see as bright as the Acura HIDs though
