Look Here Moderators!!!
UM i know that any kind of posting of meets are suppose to be held in the meet section but my only complaint is that in show for support of a tl gathering....that the meet isnt where people are looking...i personally never went into the meet section until i was told my thread was moved.....perhaps Mr. Hyde can make an acception and let me move back my thread as a stick so people can actually see what real TL EVENTS ARE GOING ON, that how the lude boards run it and it works out quite well perhaps theres no harm in trying, im just a fellow Tl-s' er who is looking to meet some faces and cars...so i hope you can make an exception for this one since the meet is scheduel for january and already it looks like a good turn out already.....you can see by the list yourself.....so for those who can support this idea please leave your mark so that the moderators can see...thanks

Not saying that I don't agree with you on some level, but the point of having a meet forum is to keep all of the meet information in there and not have it scattered all over the site, which is why you probably will not see a meet topic in the Type-S (or any other) section. Most people who are looking to get involved with a meet know to visit the meet section. Plus, as soon as you click the forums button, you see all of the different boards which are available, including the meet section. Maybe one of the mods can explain it better, but that's just what I've seen since I've been on here (almost from the beginning)......

I understand what you are saying completely and thats how t hings are done on Honda-Acura.net, and it isnt working that well. There are always 3-5 meets going on somewhere at similar times, and having 5 stickies on top the forum for meets that may be months away just clutters everthing up and hides now posts and topics.
I personally have no problem with you posting a Thread about a meets general location and a date only in here (I.E. So Cal meet on 12/21) with a link within the post to the meets forum where all the specific info like the time and exact place as well as headcounts are all kept. All replies, questions, etc should be kept in the meets forum. If they end up here the post will get locked or moved. Also dont bump the post up several times a day or every single day. Once every few days is plenty.
Alot of meet posts end up into just repetetive headcounts and conversations between members which is best left in the meets forum.

you can do the same by copying this text into your sig...

NOTE - make sure to add the forward slash "/" in front of the U in the part that says "" (the URL at the end of the line) so it looks like "" (no spaces)
