Locking Beep sound

Hey guys one thing I noticed when I park my car and walk away to lock it, the BEEP that the car emits to reaffirm that it was locked is very nice and all but I always notice that I have to stand close to the car or look for the lights to flash.
Is there anyway i could make it a bit louder?

there are 2 horns for the alarm now, one at each end of the car
Maybe you need new battery in your remote for better distance,,,fixed mine!

Since when? There is only one that i know of that is behind the passenger side fender. Putting new batteries in the remote wont fix him being able to hear the beep.

You could take the signal from the beep to a relay as a trigger and hook it up to your horn to make it louder

Gabru, are you talking about the range on the remote or are you talking about the audible and visual signs of the car locking the doors?

For range, do as above and change the battery, or put it to you head and press the remote. Increases the range for some odd reason.

For visual and audible signs, you can probably add another horn itself for a louder beep i guess. My alarm is hooked up to one under the hood pretty much in front of the driver near the firewall.

No im not talking about the range.
As for visual cues I look at the light flash.
But I noticed I only do this because the beep is too quiet.

But I dont want to hook up the relay to the horn b/c I dont want the horn sound, I LOVE that digital sound.
It makes the car seem so much ... IDK executiveish.

I am going to try to find where the beep comes out of and see if i can move it to a place where the sound would come out clearer.

Yea man, I agree. My friend's Altima triggers the horn when you lock it twice, and it just seemed kind of ghetto to me lol.

I noticed my "beep" was quiet for a little while, but then it went back to being normal. It might just be a dirty connection or something.
