Talking Location of the resonator

Ok guys, it's finally here. I got my promotion with raise That means, I can start moding my ride, finally!! I want to start with small modes first, so I decided to remove the resonator. But i got no clue whats so ever where it is! can someone help me please. Oh yeah, follow up will be short AEM. I read on the board that CAI has no mounting for the lower portion. I live in Philly, so our roads are really shitty. Anyways, looking forward to remove the resonator.

Your resonator is located directly underneath your stock air box where the the airfilter is. It is on the driver side of the engine bay, b/w the wheel fender and the front bumper. You can remove your front bumper and have easy access to the resonator. You will need a 10mm socket wrench to remove the two bolts that hold the resonator in place.

It should look something like this:

2000 Accord LX V6 Sedan White - 3,310 lbs w/ driver - 170HP & 160ft/lbs
- Eibach Pro-Kit (1.5" drop)
- Red AEM Short RAM Intake (8-10hp & 5-6 ft/lbs gain on a DynoJet)
- Red AEM Tru Power Pulleys (10hp @ 5,600rpms & 11ft/lbs @ 4,600rpms gain on a DynoJet)
- 15.45 @ 88.8mph (Track) [with AEM intake/pulleys] 0-60mph 7.2 sec (G-Tech) [with intake/pulleys]

Yup that thing is huge!! It makes a nice sucking sound when you remove it. Also, saves a little weight

One more thing: When I remove it, should I just leave it like that? Or should I just wait for AEM and take out all that crap?
What's the best short ram?

AEM and Weapon*R are probably two of the best short intakes. I've never seen a direct comparison b/w the two on a dyno, but they should be prett close.

I've also heard you can buy a Blitz filter to put on your intake which is supposed to help a little, but those filters are close to a $100!!!!

It would probably be easier and just wait to remove your resonator when you install the intake.
