I just got a loaner from the dealer because they took my car in to fix the scratches it came with. I noticed the loaner paper (reciept) I got from them says 10cents/mile. Are they going to try to charge me? I was under the impression that it was free, I just have to return it with the same ammount of gas that I took it with.

 

It should be free if they have to do warranty work. What kind of loaner car is it.

They gave me an Integra for a 2001TL. Not sure if its considered warranty work, but I did receive the car with the scratches and they are having it repainted. I'm just asking because someone on the phone there said "you get car", not "you rent car" but the 10cents/mile and something about @$30/day was written in.

 

When you return it, if there is a charge tell them that was not your understanding and other Acura dealerships do not charge for loaners, thats why there called loaners.

i agree, what dealership was this from?, i know for a fact that park ave acura doesnt charge you for loaner cars
