A little help with body kit install...??

Well, so far I've put on and Injen SRI, the rear underbody kit, and the side skirts, and I was just wondering if you guys think that with that skill level, I'd be able to install the front part of the body kit. From what I hear, it is the hardest part and requires cutting/drilling in to the car. I have the instructions from Acura, but I was just wondering if I should bring this to a body shop to have them do it, or if I should do it myself. Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance!

Dude, it's easy. You drop the old lip by taking out the bolts and clips. Then put the new one in. Unless you're :ghey: you'll be fine. Jack up the front of the car (especially if you have a drop) and get at it. If you put on the side skirts, you shouldn't have a problem doin this. BTW, you really don't NEED to replace every single bolt and clip when installing the new one. I didn't and mine looks good...GOOD LUCK

youve got a 99, u dont need to cut or drill to install the front lip. i did it with a friend of mine, and it was pretty simple, just follow the instructions and you'll be fine.

hey tpatel, I got mine off eBay for $500 and the guy worked for Acura somewhere, I'm not sure where, and he agreed to paint mine the color of my car, and he did it for free. Also, he only charged me $45 for shipping! But, they are really really hard to find now because the production on them was stopped. So expect to pay around $600 or $650 if you want one (and that's for the 99-01 body kits because the 02-03 body kits are more expensive).

Body kit install was very simple except for the front. I didn't want to cut the clips like the Acura instruction told me so I took the bumper off and just pushed them out. Rest is simple.

It is so simple that dealers should only charge $100 for the install. That's how much we did it at Gatorland Acura when I was working there.

I would perfer to do it myself since I would take care of my car the best.
