Well, heres the list. I drive my car crazy, i mean, really like hell. If the DMV knew how i drove, id never be allowed to drive again. ever. but still, some of these problems seem a little much....

1: ****ty idle. The car idles right at 700, but shes shakey. In the car you can feel the vibrations, pop the hood and you can see the motor shaking.

already tried: BG treatment, plugs, better oil.

2: Seat track bent. again. Almost feels like a bolt is loose, theres a little bit of play that allowes me to "rock" in the seat about half an inch. which sucks when braking or accelerating. Had this problem before.

3: the trim on the door panels on 2 doors, where the trim meets the plastic window control panel, is seperating from the door panel. This is ugly as hell.

4: A bearing in one of the rad fans is going. loud.

5: after taking the car to the autocross, the suspension on both front wheels squeak when i turn or go over a bump. WTF?

6: tires are feathering. 225/55/16 RE950's. no one else has this problem. Tired alignment multiple times, and this is actually causing some terrible balancing issues.

7: Rotors warped. again. all of them this time.

8: CD player is pissing me off with this "not reading burns" thing...

9:Tranny has got to be going... feels rough under hard acceleration, big delay between R and D, and dont even try to drive her when shes cold, tranny is ROUGH. dealer wont do jack ****.

10: Funny noise from behind glove box, only when AC is on. Cant describe it.



:::sigh::: and the dealer says all of these problems are either "normal for the car", "Cant reproduce" or just "not their problem".

REALLY makes me wish this car was not built in America.

wow.....99 TL here too.......50k.......I'm the only owner and I babied her most of the time, unless I seen Fast and the Furious before I went out driving or something.

Don't have any of those troubles except #8 and I had a new HU replaced under warranty and it plays every CDRs now. For a car made in America, I'm still happy with mine.....oh I hope I don't jinx myself.

 

I have the tranny issue. That thing is sooooo rough when cold. Also, my engine has trouble starting when it's hot. It idles really low...

 

Be a lil' bit nicer to your car and maybe you wouldn't be having all these problems!!!!

 

The autocross? What goes on there? Seriously I don't know what an autocross is. Racetrack?
