this is my 1st tl, my fog lights stopped wrkg yesterday.
they worked friday night when i parked.
the srs light is on.driver side headlight is a lil dimmer
than the other one.
wht needs to be done to fix these things???
any info will be appreciated.........

 

the SRS light is usually part of a special warranty that goes to 10 years!
Call the dealer and ask for an appointment- or call acura 1-800-382-2238 x5 and register as owner of the car by VIN and ask details of the warranty
They do have to physically check the car and see if its one of the covered parts- and its usually is- that makes it no charge to you
When the red srs light is on- the airbag system is OFF

The headlights will go dimmer and one may have a pinkish color -if pointed at a wall to see- on the first minute of useage. thats a warning signal
Then it dies
Always replace the bulbs in pairs- this is your first experience with the cost of operating the TL- dealer bulbs are 150$ each!!!!!

get them from our vendor Excelerate. PM him for pricing, he was working a deal to get them down in the $110-120 a PAIR price range~ really good price and top quality IMO.

The fog lights suddenly stopped working- do you use them a lot??- check the fuses and relay for them first- it would be odd to have 2 bulbs go at the exact same time, so a bad wire or no power is the things to look for
Use a 12 volt test light and check for power at the plug in connecter at the bulbs- after you check the fuse box for a blown fuse
Visually good fuse does not count! use the spare fuse of same amp rating- the number on it- and see if that fixes it. They can look good to your eye but not be working

 

any chance the headlights are on High Beam- like the switched got knocked or pulled as you exited the car?
the fogs are automatically turned off when the hi beams are on

wow,thx for all ur info i'm gonna do all that tomorrow(gotta stay wth the kids today). i see that on ebay they sell the bulbs i need for alot less,are they legit do u know?

the USED bulbs often found on ebay can be dodgy- for 80 bucks or so they want for them- spend the small extra amount on Kaixen from a reputable dealer
Phillips are the stock brand if you can make sure they are brand new
4300k is stock color, 5000k is a bit bluer, 6000k is way bluer, dont go higher than 6000
