License plate holder bracket

I want to relocate the plate to the lower right bottom of the bumper. But if I put it too much to the right, it will block the foglight. So somewhere similiar to where I have put my plate in a very "ghetto" way. See pic here(don't flame me now.. it's just temporary) I need to get two holes on the bumper plugged and painted over as well. (dumb azz dealer drilled holes on my bumper... and yes, these holes are photoshopped out for maximum viewing pleasure).

I'm looking into this "L" bracket sold in Japan. I just saw one
on a Miata yesterday. Too bad I didn't take a pic of it... but if we could make something like that for our TL... it'd be good. So who has fabricated one?? Anyone??

And how about this one also on a Miato.

I know TIM doesn't sell brackets so posting the link shouldn't be a problem, I hope.

(IF I HAD IT MY WAY, I WOULD NOT HAVE A FRONT PLATE ALTOGETHER....)

I long ago killed the picture that was linked, but if you want to give me your email address i can forward it to you. Only one question though, why do you want to mount it off center like that?

Thanks for the post.... you made it sound so easy in the post but I guess I need the tools to bend, drill holes in metal sheets.

Why do I want it "off centered"? Most of the modders in Japan put theirs off centered like that (only better). I guess that's b/c most of their cars are turbo'ed and the plate will get in the way of the intercoolers. That is why it's off centered. And mine?? I want it off centered to look different. LOL. Does it look that bad off centered??

Actually you dont need may tools at all. Just a hammer and a pair of vice grips will do, along with a drill bit or too. You dont even need a vice to hold the metal you will bend, as you can just hold the metal with the grips and give it a tap with the hammer against the garage floor. The whole thing would take no time at all. If you saw the picture of the bracket you would see how simple, yet strong, it really is.
I dont care much for the off center look. The only car that i ever saw with an off center plate was the 1990-1995 pontiac grand prix. You'd be much better off mounting the plate right in the center, but tucked under the bumper as i did. send me an email to barbqing@aol.com and i will send you a pic of my car.
