Depends what you want, the GS300 is a more bulky car while the TL is a bit more of a "sport-like" family sedan. Now if you went for the GS400, that thing is a beast. But both of them can be modded to look awesome.

I used to like the GS's and still do. Now that I have a TL, I'd vote TL. 
My next car will be a newer TL or RL. My next project will be an S2000 canyon/track beater. I've always been a Honda guy, hell with Toyota.

I was debating on buying a GS b4 i got the Type S but I didnt read up on the modability of those cars. You can do numerous things to that car. Do a motor swap wit the Supra motor, Turbo the stock motor, or get the 400/430 for torque out the ass. The GS has everything the TL has and more in some categories. But i do love my TL. It really comes down to what you want to do to the car and what you like.

.. I traded mine for the GS because my 2nd tranny was gonna take a dump on me. Then I figured how much it would cost to the 6spd swap and SC and for the price of that I could have 6-700hp GS300. To mod the GS is pretty reasonably priced and you get more bang for your buck plus its actually very good in the snow suprisingly enough.

My grandpa's Gs 350 awd and my 03 tl-s (closest comparison to the 2 vehicle's)
