lexan fog lens conversion went well pics
after about 6-months of having cracked foglights on my 2003tls, i finally took the step to replace them with the lexan lenses. While i was in there i replaced the bulbs with the 9006 5000k superwhites. The job was much easier than i thought. Only took me a little over an hour to do both lenses. My only regret is that i did not do it sooner. I got a little bit of corosion from the open hole in my oem lens. The dealer wanted $200.00 a pop to replace my foglights & as you know in no time they would be cracked again, because the idiots use glass! For about $54.00 i now have my new lexan lenses & i never have to worry about a fuckin crack again. I highly recomend you guys make this conversion. shopped on the internet for them 2 for 17.00 including shipping. the packaging looks totaly japanese. Package says H.I.D. X 5000k pro. Super White. Bought them from smartarea.com. They also had the 6000k for a little more. I was afraid the 6000k might be too hot.
