I want to have a complete list of everything that is wrong with our car... so please only post a new thread if you have a problem that has not yet been added to the list. PLEASE ENUMERATE THE PROBLEM ACCORDINGLY.

Problems:

1) Rattling noise in seat belt buckle (fixable for free at dealer).
2) Sunroof rattles (fixable for free at dealer).
3) Rattling noise near the dashboard.
4) Poorly built.

 

1) My seat clicks when you brake or accelerate...and can only be temporarily cured by changing the seat position of the back of the seat

2) Rattling noise coming from inside the trunk. I removed every single thing that was in the trunk and left only what came with the car (spare tire, cargo net), and dealer says they didn't hear anything....Bull s*it.

3) Tire wear is absolutely ridiculous. Did the dime test on them, and it's quite apparent that the tires are wearing more on the inner part of tire. Acura said tire wear is normal.

4) Brakes after 6000km of having them re-surfaced are not feeling like what they used to be. I think it's time to tell Acura to replace the brakes.

 

So far the problems I have:

1) Warpped Rotors
2) Center Armrest keeps popping up.

 

This is a dumb thread in my opinion... Why not list what we love about the car....

I consider myself lucky. I really hope I'm the norm and not the exception.

The biggest problem I have had with the car is the sun roof rattle that was fix. The tape started peeling off. I had to cut some of it but so far the rattle has not come back.
Other than that the armrest came loose. The screws had backed out. I fixed it in 30 seconds. I also have some paint chips I'm not happy about.

I know its nitpicking but that's the only problems If I had tranny and other mechanical stuff I wouldn't have even mentioned what I did.

Its a great car.

It has 25k on the clock.

I worry about the tranny but its given no indication of a problem (although I know that means nothing)

 

I recently notice driver side dash board rattling..

 

farking shytty tranny and thats it pretty much

 

Only problems I have are:

1. Keeping the rain away after washing my TLs
2. Going back into the garage and looking at my car
3. Wondering what I would do without my TLs.
4. Pray and hope I don't have the problems some of you have with your TLs's.

 

there are more rattles on my car, then in a baby's rattle. anyways, I just got use to them...I should be it in and get it fixed under warranty but haven't had time with school and everything else. I'm not so worried about it though, it is the tranny that I'm most worried about but have a sense of relief to know i'm covered on that til 100K miles. I would complain about all the noises, but hell, there is no point. just my opinion on it all.

 

sunroof rattles if the shade is slide back, driver's side seatbelt squeeks, rear passenger windows rattles, other than that, it's a fine car.

 

Just three:

1) Moonroof squeak fixed by dealer (at 5k miles)
2) Warped rotors (All 4 rotors/pads replaced for free by dealer at 28k miles)
3) Crappy BOSE speakers replaced by me for about $250


Still hoping I don't get the tranny problem. Wondering why so many people have tons of squeaks?? Other than the moonroof (fixed), I don't have a single squeak...
