![Question](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I went to Les Schwab today and talked to them about getting rims and lowered. They use Eibach, which I havent heard to much about on this forum. Anyways, they gave me a quote of $3000... this includes the following:
Arelli Vetta 17" rims with Toyo T1's
Eibach lowering kit (2" drop)
Camber Kit
Alignment
and all the installation junk that goes along with rims and balancing and stuff like that. Does anyone else think this is a rip-off? Cause 3K for this little of stuff seems like a lot to me, but maybe you who are more experienced with Les Schwab's pricing and warranties, might think otherwise. Please help!

From what I have read on this forum, alignment is not mandatory and if so, it should be done after the Eibachs settle, and a 2" drop, although tight, is probably not needed which is why you will need the camber kit. Any drop less than 1.5" should not require it.
If I am mistaken, I am sure my good buddies will assist me.

if you go with the eibachs (i did because they were the only springs out at the time) the camber kit is definitely needed......that is unless you like replacing tires after 5000 miles.

Is this for a 1st. Gen. TL?? because I don't think they make a Camber Kit for the 99-01 TL's. Unless maybe from an Accord?? Anyone................................

It's actually for a 2001TL, I was just wondering why you think they only have crappy brands. Actually, what makes a rim crappy? I mean I know they dont carry the super expensive ones, but I want chrome and perhaps a flashy 5 star pattern. I dont know what rim to choose. I'm not to into the spider webs. Anyways, Les Schwab only deals with Eibach, so thats why I was wondering if I should go through them or not. The biggest point they had to me was their service. They give ya the free rotating and free balancing, and he said they align it at time of lowering and again about 7 or 8 months later to make sure all is in place. I guess I'm just confused.
