Should I do the whites everywhere or should I just do the dome/maps/plate in white and do the blues in the doors only?

The only light that lights up when you unlock is the dome right? I have a Taffeta White 2000 TL

I'm thinking of just doing the whites because they have a slight HID tone to them if you know what I mean... Blue is kinda cool in the doors though... I can't decide !

I was also wanting my plate in the back to look like the new lexus's but when I see pics of the led... It looks like it's pointing to the ground like a flashlight instead of being spread over the plate properly....

I know... Picky!

all white..the blue on the door light looks really ricey..i don't care what others say..but it's ricey.

The white..looks real nice and it serves a good purpose..it provides better lighting..wth can u see with blue light ahha.

 

I have blue in the doors and the dome. I made the map lights and the trunk light white. I think it looks good, not ricey at all IMO. You can see just fine with the blue in the dome. I've received many complements on my LEDs.

My advice...do what ever you like. It's your car who care what anyone else thinks!

 

agreed, fawk what others say as long as you like what you do to your car. its your car not theirs so screw em all and do what you want

 

I think I'm going to go with all white first and if I wanna have some fun I'll just get some blues for the doors eventually...

For sure it should look better than the stock bulbs no matter which ones I get

 

I had the blues in the doors originally and then went to all whites in domes and doors.

I have 4 extra blues now

 

GO all white, you wont regret it. Thats what i have in my 99TL. All white looks hot but sharp and classy you know. Blue is always gona lean slightly on the ricey lookin side.

 

did you do your trunk and glove box?

my car is in the shop... do we have lights in our rear doors?

 

I agree with the all white... funny thing is to the "non-car-modding" people who ride in my car, they think the white LEDs are blue.

 

Im doing trunk and license soon both with the hyper white 9leds
I will keep the glove box and console blue for now....I dont see those much anyways.

No back door lights, just the dome lights

Oh nice! I wanna see how bright it is with the license plate 9 LEDs post a pic once you get them installed!

 

I want to know if there's any LED or other sorts that makes it look like the new Lexus IS license plate lights?

Me too...I get the OOOOOO BLUE LIGHTS! thing all the time...even from strangers walking by.
