Thumbs up LED lighting at it's best!

To anyone who is interested in LED lighting to improve the look of their car I suggest checking into Tec-Toyz.com. There are few companys out there that offer LED's but nothing compares to the quality and service that is offered by this business. Any questions about what type of bulb your car needs this is the place to get it from. I bought white LEDs for the interior of my Aegean Blue Pearl 03 TL-S and blue LED's for the courtesy lights for the front doors. The only thing I can tell you is not only does it replace the dull stock lighting but it gives it a classy look.... These bulbs are so bright and clean looking it's ridiculous! This is an awesome affordable upgrade that will make your car look 10x better and so easy to install...I also just ordered white LED's for my license plate to finish off my exterior and will post pictures ASAP!

Here is a direct link to Tec-Toyz if anyone should have any questions anytime regarding bulb type, colors, sizing and ect. Brian@Tec-Toyz.com. As I can see.. Brian from Tec-Toyz has sold thousands of LED bulbs and 100% positive feedback from Ebay also see this link **mod edit...no links to eBay**

Got from Tec toyz about a week ago and i installed them this week. The guy was very easy to deal with and quick to return e-mails to him. i got the hyper white leds and the interior of the car looks great. not too blue(which i did not want) and pretty much has the same tint as the headlights. my only complaint is that the back up lights need more power because the orig bulbs are 18W if i'm not mistaken and these probably are half that wattage. For the interior this is great but i would liked to have had more powerful backup lights. by the way the answer to your ques is that they just plug right in like a replacement bulb.

On Tec-Toyz.com there is a direct link at the bottom of the page for bulb replacement from sylvania.com. 99-03 TL uses 168 but the 921 bulb also fits and I think is a better bulb......The license plate is also 921 or 168 bulb. I reccomend 921, trust me you wont be let down.

3175 is the number. All you need is a 6led bulb 1.5" 31mm is the correct size. 39mm will fit as well.

I need your guys opinon....I'm thinking about getting 9LED's 921's for my back up (reverse) lights. Do you think this would look nice? Backing up w/ 5% tint do you think there would be a problem seeing? The LED's are pretty damn bright.

well the lights are in......waiting on a dry night to take the pictures. They look incredible. The white 9led in the trunk didnt have proper clearance had to cut a small hole in the screen cover on the light. It doesput more light into the trunk and the license plate looks like the new lexus.

Looks nice, the rear backup lights definitely look brighter! Not sure about the front, seems like your flash might have subdued it. Make a list of all the bulb sizes you used.

I got my LEDs from Tech-Toyz about a week ago and I love them. Great shipping time and communication from Brian there. I got Hyper White for the map lights and inside the trunk. (a little more functional IMO), and Bright Blue for the doors and the dome. My fiance says it looks like club ACURA when I unlock and open the doors at night. (whatever...she likes it even though she won't admit it)

ProvidenceLeaf, thats the same exact setup, colors and all im going to have except im putting a light under the license plate and not in the trunk...im getting the lights hopefully tomorrow or wednesday

Is it hard to install the bulb for the license plate? any instructions or self explanitory? havent really looked at it yet....from the inside seems like doors, map and dome are self explanitory...just use a flat head screwdriver and pry open the covers, right?

thanks, nick
