Leather Care

Just wondering what you guys use for leather care, I heard that Acura has a kit and that it is non-shiny, anyone used that yet how is it? I want something not shiny any suggestions? Also much is that Acura kit?

I just finished applying the leather care in my TL-S. Yes, it's non-shiny and does a great job in lubricating the leather and vinyl surfaces. I seriously don't know how much it costs since the dealer through it in for free when I purchase the car. There are alot of other great products some use on this forum, but I personally love the Acura kit. It's not shiny, and doesn't smell. When did you purchase the vehicle? If you have a good relationship with the saleman, give him a call, he might be able to hook you up with a free kit. It wouldn't hurt to ask.

I've used Meguiar's Medallion for leather for over nine years and will use nothing else.

My previous car (Acura Vigor) was eight years old with 111K miles and the seats looked as good as the day I bought it, and they never had a cover on them.

How often do you guys usually care for the leather? I just left the interior untreated for the whole winter and I'm already starting to see wrinkles in the leather seats.

I try to do it at least once a week. I recently used Armor-All Leather Wipes, and I think those are pretty decent. Quick and easy.

I bought some Lexnol about a year ago and still haven't tried it. People on this forum seem to like it. I'm just so lazy... and I fear that if I start doing it, I'll have to keep doing it to keep the leather looking good and not dry out. Any thoughts?

I used the Lexol stuff and works really well especially the cleaner. For the protectant it isn't too shiny or slippery it just depends how much you put on and if you let it sit overnight or not. I would use the protectant like about once every month and use the cleaner if anything gets stuck to the seats or before preotecting..

Zaino Bros. Leather in a Bottle. The stuff works great, is not shiny, and makes the whole car smell new again. I use it may 3-4 times a year. A little bit goes a long way.

Lightbulb

I bought the 303 stuff that NSXNEXT uses, but I haven't tried it yet. Hopefully this weekend I can sneak in a wash.....
