It depends on the term and mileage in the lease. Some samples:

39 months, 15K miles
60% residual, .0029 money factor

42 months, 15K miles
59% residual, .0028 money factor

48 months, 15K miles
58% residual, .0026 money factor

The money factors are also adjusted slightly (by .0001) depending on whether or not you pay the security deposit. If you don't, you can take another .0001 off the money factor.

Has anyone been successful in Canada with negotiating the lease and if so explain, or is the negotiation all in the trade?

I'll again offer my horribly detailed leasing spreadsheet to anyone who wants it for the ridiculous price of $5.00 - blows anything else you can get off the web out of the water (the reason I created it is because I no luck finding a decent lease calculator unless I wanted to shell out $30+). I accept PayPal :-)

The residual is not a fixed figure, nor is the money factor. These will vary depending on the length of the lease and the mileage you get (12K vs. 15K.)
