lease rates

lease rates

could anyone who has recently leased a new tl please let me now what type of rates you received on the lease. $/month, length of lese, miles allowed, etc.....

thank you in advance for any responses, my dad is looking to lease a new tl, and since i bought mine i have no idea what leases are going for now.

"leases" are all based on three things. The first is the negotiated sales price. Always negotiate a price like you are going to buy. The second thing is the residual value of the car. This is what the dealer and you agree that the value of the car will be when you finally turn the car back in. You then Finance the difference, plus sales tax, title, processing fee, etc... That is how you come up with a lease rate. (Finance rate is the third thing) I dont like leases too much because every 2-3 years you are forced into paying another round of sales tax, processing fees, title, etc.... This costs at least $1000 if not more. You may as well add that again to the cost of the car because you HAVE to have something to drive when the lease is up. $1000/36 months is about $30 more a month. Which doesn't make leasing that much more economical. Just my .02 cents
