Leakage check for cleared headlights?!?!?
hey guys,
i just ended up clearing my headlights out yesterday. I didnt need the car for a few days so i took my time with it. THe current status is that its all opened up/cleaned/took out the orange diffuser, and ready to be put back now.
I saw a lot of instructions on how to check to see if there is any leakage in the headlights once they are re-sealed back together. However, the instructions were reALLY basic and not thorough. ALl i got outa it was to hold it over the siink and let hot water run?? wouldnt that make the mist go IN the headlights??
Can anyone give me instructions on how to chek to see if my seal that i made after opened it up and put it back together, to see if its good or not??
any help would be great.. ANd i will post pics once the project is done!..
thanx

"put in all the bulbs"...think about that buddy. water + wet electronics = BAD
the housing is there to protect the bulbs from water so naturally you dont want to wet them.
Just messing with you bro...dont get pissed off.
