I was wondering if anybody heard about the law suit results? I know the case was on the 28th. My TL has 107k now and i want to get a new tranny as soon as possible if the law suit rules they are under warranty still.

 

Havent heard anything but my tranny took a crap on the 28th. It sucks!!!

 

You dont just go get a new one if there isnt any thing wrong with yours

 

Yeah I wanted to know the same thing but for some reason my thread got closed without any explanation.

 

i dont just want a new tranny. mine is not gone yet but i can feel some rough shifts sometimes when im in the city and it has rough down shifts. the acura dealership tested it out and said it was fine and thats how a car should feel but no automatic car i have been in has rough jumps between gears.

It will probably take years to close this case, with all the various stages of appeal procedures. Both Honda and customers will be the losers, the only winners are the lawyers.

 

Even if it has gone thru you wont get a new one. Yours has to fail or show signs of it failing for you to receive a new one.

 

I just got my new tranny ordered today. The cluthes took a crap at about 70 on the freeway. Not fun
