Latest mods for my TL-S
OK, so I finally got around to taking some pics of some of the mods I've had done to my TL-S in the last couple months. I finally had the time and guts to clear my headlights. It took me about 3 hours and I replaced the amber with the clear diffuser which I purchased months ago. It's been cleared for a little over a month and no fogging or leaking yet - but now that I said that, I may have just jinxed myself :p
The 4 cross drilled rotors are by PowerStop with which I also changed my brake pads to Axxis Brake Pads from this site. I know it's mostly a cosmetic mod, but I like it.
I also added a carbon fiber faceplate around my headunit which had to be custom cut and fitted. The earlier pics just show that black plastic when it was first installed. The CF looks better since it matches the rest of the interior kit.
Finally, I took the plunge AND the risk and bought the Sarona roof spoiler (thanks to a bonus check from work ) This is a mod that I'm not too sure if I'm totally happy with. It looks different from what I expected and on the website. I'm still thinking about getting rid of it, but my gf said to leave it on and see if it grows on me Anyways, while that was being painted, I had my engine cover and battery cover painted also.
Well, thats it for now. Let me know what you guys think. The pics are on pg.3 & 4 of the gallery.

i like it! except for the roof spoiler, it looks funky. u have a very nice tls or should i say inspire anyways, you should have also painted the balckwood trim on the console to abp. the carbon fiber clashes with the black wood.

Dang...I've been waiting for someone to get the roof spoiler. I kinda like it. Looks really good from the rear. Not too sure about the look from the side.
Nice job modding your TL, now all you need is some 19's
Nice work.

Good Job! I kinda like the roof spoiler. I've been seeing it a lot lately and it's already grown on me. I'm not sure about the carbon fiber look but that's only because I'm bias to the brushed aluminum look. NICE!

Looks pretty good, FreDroRN. IMuHO, the roof spoiler is a tad bit of overkill with the decklid one as well...I do think the roof spoiler is tasteful--you getting any windnoise out of it???
Had any corrosion issues yet with those rotors? How much did you drop on them? I'm still shopping for some and I'm undecided. I, too, am just looking for a bit of cosmetic appeal...

Thanks everyone for the comments so far.
Like I had said, the roof spoiler still has to grow on me too. I've only had it for about 2 weeks, so I have to give it some time. Installation is basically with 3M double sided tape. It's not a 100% perfect fit - there are some slight gaps towards the corners, but I guess its to be expected with aftermarket parts. As far as I can tell, there is no windnoise from it.

The rotors cost me about $90/rotor and no corrosion issues yet, but I've only had them on the car for about 2 months. Are you concerned about anything in particular about the rotors?

The rotors are by PowerStop and cost about $90/rotor.

Thanks - I'm near Queens Village, but I'm in Westchester a lot since my girl lives up there.

You can see the roof spoiler at www.sarona.com Their store is near me here in Queens, so I actually just picked it up myself for $300 unpainted. It's pretty high priced, but I decided to take a chance.

When you're editing your sig, type before the link and after the link. Don't put any spaces. Try that and see if it works.

Car looks great man, In the pics, the roof spoiler looks a little thick, especially from the side, but when I saw it on the road, I thought it looked real nice, especially from the rear. I would definitely keep it, especially with all the work & $$$ you put into getting it.
In fact after seeing your car blinging on on the road, I felt my car looked like crapp since it was so dirty. As soon as I got home, she got a wash & wax job which was put off for way too long, but I was off this week, so shes all nice and shiny now.
Theres a possible meet at Belmont state park in Suffolk on the 31st; interested??

Thanks Hyde. My car was actually pretty dirty since I had no time to wash her since I was workin so much lately. Honestly, I thought your car was gleaming that afternoon - I was thinking to myself "Damn, I need a wash"
Anyways, What time would the meet be on the 31st? I'll be coming back from Lake George that afternoon, so if the meet runs late afternoon, I'd be down.
