im gonna get my windows tinted on my TL this weekend and i cant make up my mind on what tint percentage to get.
i was thinking 25% in the back, 40% in the front and 55% on the front windsheild. i would get something around 30% all around but her in Canada itz illegal to tint any of the front windows.

What do u guy thing about 25%, 40%, and 55%.
also what are some percentages you guys have?

wow thats pretty light. i have 18 on all 5 windows. and i can still see sometimes. i am wishing i had gotten 10 or possibly 5.

28% all around and I still think its not dark enough, but atleast I can park my car at night without putting my windows down. I would go with 25%, good balance of darkness and still good enough to see at night. I woudln't recommend anything less then 18% unless you're a vampire.

 

I GOT A 2003 TL-S BLUE WITH BLACK INTERIOR, AND I PUT 35 ALL AROUND BECAUSE IT'S WHAT'S LEGAL HERE IN MASSACHUSSETS, SEEMS LIKE I HAVE A MAGNET TO ATTRACT COPS AND I JUST DIDN'T WANT TO GIVE THEM ANOTHER REASON TO STOP ME, SO I WENT LEGAL. LOOKS BETTER THEN STOCK BUT IS STILL PREATTY LITE. IT HELPS A LOT IF YOU HAVE A DARK INTERIOR, CAUSE IF IS LITE INTERIOR YOU CAN PUT 20 OR 15 AND STILL WILL LOOK LITE.

20% in back and 35 on sides..more light hits the back and makes it look almost the same with a slight diff. I was defintely glad I went 20 in back, b/c to me, I would have felt like the back was brighter.

 

i have 20% on all four side windows, and 5% on the rear window. The sides are perfect, and the 5% on the back makes the 2 back side windows look a lil darker. It is also illegal to tint the front windows in NJ...but you can't think about that, gotta think of what would make ur car look best!
