Last Mod by Chien...

Hi guys,

This is my last mod these days. I don't think I'll have time to do any other mod...
The whole red tail is not bad for a black car....

howd u do that! did u have to take apart the casing and add red film. and if u opened up the casing and took out the amber plastic in order to do that, then doesnt that able us to make 02 tails.

No, u can't, the tail is too weak and if u try to take apart it, it'll break! So again, I use redish vinyl to "wrap" it....
I figure it's a really cheap way to mod car. Two unique tails cost only 6 CDN.. and about 2 hours....

Don't take it personally Chien, but I think you finally went too far. Not my taste, but hey it's not my car. Do what makes you happy.

It looks ok. One tone color is always bettter than two. It would look hot on a Firepepper TL.

850EX, I agree with u...
I know it's not as good as the inspire ones and I actually thought about taking it off after the negative opinion. However, I went to school today and there was another TL parked right besides me, exactly the way my car used to be... the yellow tails, the Acura of North Toronto license plate... and then I just deicded to keep things a bit longer until I got enough money to buy the Inspire tails...

Don't listen to what other people say. It is your car and you are entitled to do anything. Personally, I think it looks pretty tight.

This one is actually a lot easier compare to those silver interior. You just have to put the vinyl on the tails and use a very sharp knife to cut the shape u need... it's really the easiest one compare to others... but when u cut it, don't push it too hard 'coz u don't wanna damage ur original tails...
Because the vinyl is like the sticker itself, so u don't have to worry it'll fall or anything...

kindda looks like the cl's taillight. So you took the taillight off, and put some red vinyl over it? Where your original lights the 02' ones? or the ones with the yellow stripe?

U meant if the silver I used is the same as the exterior silver? I don't know.. but it should be pretty closed... and I didn't paint it... I used vinyl to wrap it!

Where can I find smoke tint sheet stuff??

Right now I have removeable tint spray on my accord taillights. But I would like something a little more durable than the spray, but still reversible in case "the man" hassles me.

alrite, i just did this red vinyl mod. i tried so many ****in places to get it: 3 hobby shops, 1 addesign place, home depot, etc. etc. etc. i finally found cherry red transparent tailight repair tape from R and S Strauss, or wutever that place is called. it came in a roll of like 4" X 60". there was no need to even remove the taillight either.

its an alright match up, but not tranparents enough. the upper part of my tailight is not as "crystallized" as the bottom half. Ill try and find better vinyl. cuz now it looks pretty ghetto, but at least better than before. ill post pix in a lill bit.
