Nice, from the vid you posted up, look like the only car that passed you was the CRX right? So you were able to keep pulling from the EVO? Wow, quite amazing.

In all fairness, the Evo needed a driver mod.

Thats my buddy. He is one of the fastest out there. Not by HP but by the sheer handling of that little thing. He was 4 sec a lap faster than me. Only one faster than him was a heavily modified Evo with 275's R compounds and a C5 Vette with 315's R compounds.

Yea he needed a few driving lessons lol. If they were on R compounds they were faster, I matched lap times with a couple of them though.

and i was over half a sec faster than a Newer Stock M3

I should be getting more video footage soon. My buddy with his CRX taped my car from his from behind for a few laps. Also hoping to get more pictures soon too.

I wouldn't even think of taking my tl to the track. I'd be too afraid of blowing my tranny or busting a motor mount. However I am looking into an E39 M5, I know more expensive to repair and maintain but god they are sexy.

Looking good, but wow that's a really tight track. No wonder the CRX performed so well.

It was originally designed for shifter carts. But works well and has many configurations for us that make it fun. Auto-x on it is challenging.

nice driving man. I see you get the occasional snap oversteer that I've experienced. it's a bit scary

Its not that bad, Im pretty used to it, I was having to adjust the suspension and PSI constantly. When we started the Day it was mid 30's out, by time we got done and the track rubbered up a little it was 60. The car has pretty predictable oversteer. Its just that one part of the track where it crests changing direction where it upsets cars. Overall its a blast. Just need Better tires and brakes now.

It has to be the CL-S LSD. I think that makes it day and night on this line up of Acuras.

Honestly a subie with studded tires would destroy that on the lake.

New tires are being made that have 120 more bolts than the ones in the link above.

Koni Shocks (H&R sport springs) and the Swaybars (front and rear) made a HUGE difference.

mmm, wind noise.

But seriously, I agree with NJ SHAWD, you've got an impressive lack of body roll

I did springs and sways on the leggy and would lift up on turns on a regular basis. I wanted to go coil overs but sold her before I had the chance. This thread brings back some good memories man...thanks! Your tl kicks a$$.

It all depends on what springs/struts you buy. They each vary in bouncyness, stiffness etc...

All springs and shocks are not the same. I will never buy a spring other than H&R. They are the best.
