Summer...

Ambient climate changes will make a marked difference. Also chalk some of it up to just being accustom to the vehicle. I often feel the same way but then a run at the track sets me straight.

if your air filter is dirty then the car isn't going to be performing at its peak

the computer adjusts to your driving style. if you regularly drive slow, it will begin to run more conservatively. unplugging your battery resets the computer (and your radio so dont lose the codes). ive never tried it, but this is what i have read on posts before

Well, yes and no. The transmission will adjust to the driving style reducing or increasing the shift points based on how often you dip into the throttle.

The engine controls adjust based feedback from the HO2S1 during idle and part throttle.

check and see if your throttle cable is tight. Mine had a lot of slack and when i fixed it, it was night and day

Nope, the current J32A1 and J32A2 motors have the traditional cable driven throttle which I am perfectly fine with.

Around here in the summer they put anti-pollution crap in the gas, each gallon has 5% less energy. Also you should wash and wax your car-cuts 0.5 seconds off my 0-60 time.

in additon to taht, u need some vtec stickers around the rear bumper, and make sure u strap urself in right cause the stickers provide some much power, that u might break ur head while accelerating

never knew abouit the computer adjusting to the way i drive. I guess that and the heat, and my dirty filter is why it feels as if its lagging. It actually feels how it felt when i first got it, with the engine not broken in yet...
